Animal Swap!

This morning we got up at 6:00 and drove to an animal swap. We looked around and found lots of chickens, ducks, geese, pigeons, other various game birds, rabbits, goats, donkeys, miniature horses, sheep, dogs, cats, and pot belly pigs. There were so many things to see and we had a great time! But, you know you can't go and not pick up a little something. We got 4 twelve week old black silkies and one light brown frazzle. We would have got more frazzles, but it was her last one there. For all of you who don't know a frazzle is a cross between a silkie and a frizzle.

This is the light brown frazzle. We named her Dazzle!
The black silkies have yet to be named.

Anyone want to help name them?

If one of them is a rooster, it has to be named Kramer, from Seinfeld. He already has the hair!

Poor little Dazzle. How dare you let it stick it's beak in a plug-in.

I always heard them called Sizzle (Silkie x Frizzle)! I like both :-D

Loooove your silkie chicks, too precious! I currently have 4 black ones and a blue one, approx one month old... they're going through the uglies right now LOL!

If a black one is a roo we're calling him Batman :-D

My black girls (various breeds) are called Raven, Raisin, Ember, Truffle, Pepper, Skyla and Juliette, to name a few. I always wanted to call one Pepsi - ha ha!

I can't think of a name offhand - too tired to think - but your little chickies are adorable!

What sweet chickens and I LOVE the names LOL! I saw one of those wild looking chickens at the State Fair ...they're funny looking but cute at the same time. Enjoy your new little ones and I'm looking forward to seeing more pictures and finding out what you named your other birds. Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Such sweet chicks. Mine are all grown up and laying eggs and nothing so fancy in our hen house. Maybe next year.
